Favites (came in as such)
Not sure what this came in as (probably Chalice), or what it is.
Some of the names above may not be correct. Do not use
this as an identification guide. It is to show you what
is in the "Box C" Australia tanked boxes. Sometimes things like
Oulophyllia, Montastrea, Diplostrea, etc., come in as Favites,
for instance. These are guesses at a glance, not formal
identifications. If it is thin and flat they call it Chalice.
A half dozen different genera may be sent as such, including
Montiporas, Merulina, Leptoseris, Echinopora, Echinophyllia,
or anything else they find in that growth form.
